The Brief

To re-design and future proof a young boy's bedroom. Including the design of bespoke fitted furniture, a desk with integrated unit (for potential tv and gaming), a wardrobe with display unit and bedside table.

Our Approach

Working very closely with our young client and his parents, we discussed concepts, ideas and colour schemes, and then developed detailed drawings of the new bedroom, incorporating a wish list of requirements. The bespoke furniture design was developed with these in mind and with the desire to future proof the interiors, so that they would continue to work as he grew up.

Every detail, from the way the internal layout of the wardrobes would work and accommodate both clothing and accessories now, and in the future, to the way the display shelves were spaced to showcase the client’s items and how the fitted furniture would work with the specifications of the purchased bed, were considered for client approval.

Once approved, we liaised with our joinery partners and client to select the chosen finishes and materials – something modern, durable and practical! Finally, the joiners built and then installed the furniture on-site, using the detailed drawings and specifications to ensure everything fitted perfectly.

The Result

A bright and contemporary boy's bedroom, with bespoke fitted furniture, that is future proofed for years to come!
