The Brief

Years after completing their original kitchen extension our clients returned to us to further enhance the kitchen/dining area in their Grade II listed property. With a growing family and a love for entertaining, they were looking to create some additional space and incorporate a beautiful functional kitchen island.

Our Approach

To enhance the social space within the home, we designed an additional extension to the gable-end of the kitchen. Constructed with a stunning glazed Accoya frame and finished to a high standard to complement the existing exterior architecture, an inviting garden room area was created, perfect for family dining and entertaining.

Flooded with natural light, this new space allowed our clients to incorporate a large family dining table, which in turn provided additional space in the kitchen for the design of a bespoke island. Incorporating extensive storage solutions, a generous work surface ideal for meal preparation, and a breakfast bar, the island forms the perfect centrepiece for modern family living.

 

The Result

A beautiful garden room extension that enhances and expands the previous extension, thoughtfully designed to meet our client’s needs and achieve the family lifestyle and environment they envisioned.
