The Brief

To transform our client’s Edwardian style home through a traditional two-storey side extension and a single-storey rear extension. To also consider internal and external alterations, including the removal of an existing detached garage to open up the rear garden space, and the creation of a new parking area.

Our Approach

Our team carried out a detailed measured survey of the property, designed a scheme that maximised the space, light, and functionality of the property while complementing the existing structure, obtained planning permission and Building Regulations approval.

The two-storey side extension was designed to provide valuable additional accommodation and included a new utility room, WC, study, and first-floor master bedroom with en-suite. The glazed rear extension created a bright, open plan living environment, comprising of a large kitchen, dining, and living space with direct access on to the rear garden. An ideal hub for cooking, dining, socialising and relaxing!

We also reconfigured parts of the existing home and externally developed an accessible parking solution to the front of the property.

The Result

A large, spacious, family home, combining traditional architecture with contemporary modern living, providing functionality and high-quality.
