The Brief
Our Approach
Initially approached by our clients to create an extension to the rear of their property and combine their existing kitchen and separate dining room, to provide a larger, open plan kitchen-living space, it became apparent that they wanted to re-modernise their entire house both inside and out. As a result, they also appointed our team to provide a full interior design and fit-out service throughout.
A beautiful open plan living space was designed and created to the rear of the property, which opened out on to the garden (landscape design also provided by ADP) via bi-folding doors. This allowed for the full transformation of the downstairs open- living space to include a bespoke, contemporary and minimalistic fitted kitchen. Handless with an AC lacquered finish, mirrored splashbacks, quartz worktops and oak feature shelving, this then flowed into a fully furnished dining and sitting area, with an integrated media wall, providing a seamless, yet defined and functional living space. A ground floor shower room and utility room with built-in, bespoke storage, was also designed and manufactured to our client’s requirements, creating another practical yet stylish addition to this space.
Further work included the design and installation of a media wall in the living room and the design and installation of an oak and glass balustrade staircase with understairs cupboards. Along with new internal doors throughout, this gave the hallway a new, modern, fresh appearance, with plenty of concealed storage space.
Upstairs included the redesign and layout of a large family bathroom, which incorporated our client’s new sauna, feature bath and bespoke built-in storage. The re-design of three bedrooms (one which could be used as a den for the grandchildren but would convert to a third bedroom, when needed) and a fully fitted study to the front of the property were also created.
Our team provided a full Interior design service from start to finish, for this project and were responsible for designing all the bespoke furniture throughout the house including the kitchen, lounge, bedrooms, study and utility room. Items included wardrobes, desks, media walls, coffee tables, display units, benches and bedside units.
Our interiors team also selected other items of furniture on behalf of the clients, created mood boards and colour schemes for client consideration and sourced images, materials and fabric samples for curtains, carpets, soft furnishings and those additional final touches.
They also assisted in the selecting and sourcing of integrated lighting and fixtures and fittings. Providing guidance every step of the way, our clients could be confident that their new home would not only be functional but would flow and look great!
The Result
A 30-year interiors revamp of a home, turning a modest semi-detached property into a fabulous contemporary, modern, comfortable and functional home, ideal for accommodating and entertaining family and friends.

“We have been delighted with the service given by Natalie and Rachel from ADP and would recommend them very highly. They were always there on the end of the phone, on WhatsApp, or by email to help with any concerns we had and to give advice on practical things. As a result, we have the home we always dreamed of and enjoy it every minute of every day we are living here. We went for the full package and the advice and guidance on the fine detail was invaluable in achieving the style and look we wanted for the house. Natalie is keen to listen and then create exactly what is wanted and has also created things we never even imagined ourselves but love. Many, many thanks for contributing to a home that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives with all our friends and family”.
